The man's crime received significant attention and led to immigration-critical protests, after he among other things assaulted a 14-year-old girl shortly after arriving in the UK by boat.
In September, he was sentenced to one year in prison. But on Saturday, British police announced that the 38-year-old man had been released from prison in Essex by mistake.
Several police forces have worked to find the man and now the London police announce that the man has been deprived of his freedom again, writes Sky News.
