The flood killed at least 135 people in Texas between July 4 and 6. It became the beginning of intense searching for missing people among mud and debris along the Guadalupe River.
"Thanks to extensive follow-up work from state and local authorities, many people who have been reported missing have been confirmed to be safe and have been removed from the list," the city of Kerrville writes in a press release.
Of the 101 people who were missing after the flood, 97 were in Kerr County. The search continues along the Guadalupe River for those who are still missing, according to the authorities in Texas.
