The search for 26-year-old Carolina Wilga has been going on for over a week, since she disappeared without a trace in a remote wilderness area in western Australia. The concern grew when her vehicle was found abandoned in the middle of dense terrain.
She has some injuries and she has been severely affected by mosquitoes. She has obviously gone through an incredible journey, a trauma, and it will undoubtedly be a testimony that shows her courage under the circumstances out there, says police officer Martin Glynn according to several local media outlets.
Wilga has now been flown to the city of Perth for care, reports ABC News.
