Police were called to Lake Skavenäs in Växjö on the evening of April 1 after a canoe overturned. Two young men were in the canoe, and one managed to get to shore, but the other was not found.
On Tuesday afternoon, the police announced that the missing man's body had been found during a diving operation.
"He was found deceased. Relatives have been notified," said Thomas Johansson, press spokesman for the police, to SVT.
