The book "Murder at the Grand Alpine Hotel" is written by author Lucy Foley, who brings the novel character to life on behalf of the company that manages Agatha Christie's commercial rights, Swedish publisher Bookmark writes in a press release.
The 40-year-old British author Lucy Foley has previously written several best-selling mystery novels, including "The Wedding Party" and "Neighbors in Death." Now she takes over the legacy of Agatha Christie, whose books have sold over two billion copies. The British author died in 1976.
Hercule Poirot, another of Christie's characters, has also been brought to life in the same way in recent years. Sophie Hannah has written six books about the Belgian detective since 2014.
