STIM has compiled which artists and songs have been played the most in public environments and whose owners have paid compensation to the music rights organization during the year.
The song "Misstag" by the artist Miss Li tops Stim's list as the most played "background song" in 2025. In second place comes "Que sera" by Medina followed by "Honey boy" by Benjamin Ingrosso.
The most played music creator in public places, however, was Joakim Berg from Kent. A total of around 860,000 different songs were played in public places in 2025.
