A minute of silence will be held before all Bundesliga matches this weekend to honor the victims of the attack on the Christmas market in Magdeburg.
This is announced by the German Football League (DFL) in a statement.
Five people were killed and over 200 injured when a man drove his car into the crowd at the Christmas market on Friday evening.
"German football is in shock over the attack on the Christmas market in Magdeburg. DFL recommends that the teams wear mourning bands in the Bundesliga and second division and stands behind a minute of silence as a tribute to the victims", writes the football league in a statement.
