Colorado had the opportunity to take a big lead on the Stanley Cup quarterfinal series last night, winning the shot count by a wide margin.
The problem was that Minnesota's Jesper Wallstedt stood in the way. The Swedish goalie made numerous saves and finished the game with a save percentage over 97%.
Instead, it was Minnesota that scored the goals. The final score came via Matt Boldy's 5–1 empty-net goal with four seconds left in the game.
The series is now 2–1 in Minnesota's favor.
