The government is giving the county administrative boards of Västra Götaland, Västernorrland and Kalmar the task of creating meeting places between the cultural sector, the public sector and the business community.
The long-term ambition is to broaden funding for cultural life.
"An interaction between private and public funding and increased collaboration is important to increase the independence of the cultural sector and thereby create a greater diversity of cultural expressions," states Minister of Culture Parisa Liljestrand (M) in a press release from the government.
