Data is our time's gold, says Minister for Civil Affairs Erik Slottner (KD) at a press conference.
The public administration has large amounts of data and some can be used to train and develop various AI products.
But with more data, we can do so much more, says Slottner.
If authorities, municipalities and regions are to be able to share more data, they must be able to prevent sensitive information such as personal data and trade secrets from being disclosed.
Being able to share sensitive information is a prerequisite for authorities to be able to develop their own AI solutions, for example in healthcare or in a future citizen app where it should be possible to file a tax return, apply for a preschool place or receive digital mail in the same place on the mobile phone.
The inquiry will submit its proposals no later than June 30, 2026.
