Just over ten years ago, it made headlines when Jakob Porser stepped in with financial support for Luleå, which was making a major investment. The 48-year-old, one of the people behind the computer game company Mojang, which created the huge success Minecraft, has supported Luleå since childhood and is now once again investing heavily in the club.
When Luleå buys Coop Norrbotten Arena from the municipality, Porser has invested SEK 110 million for 40 percent of the shares.
It's a lot, but hopefully it will be put to good use and we will have a great project here in the arena, Jakob Porser tells NSD.

The total price tag for the arena is close to 130 million kronor, according to NSD.
