The recalled meat has been sold at Willys and Hemköp.
The recall applies to products with a best before date of 2025-11-12 and specifically with the batch number 5281041084.
"We take this extremely seriously, are now investigating with the supplier how it could have happened and how we can ensure that something similar does not happen again," says Axfood's quality manager Susanna Wadegård in the press release.
No cases of illness have been confirmed, writes Axfood.
