For two years, the company is said to have invoiced for parking attendants who did not exist. The fraud was revealed in an internal investigation at Avarn, which has been handed over to the Stockholm Traffic Office.
Three managers have reportedly been fired from the company.
The fraud has occurred, among other things, through double billing and billing for hours not worked. SEK 2.7 million corresponds to approximately two full-time positions in one year.
The City of Stockholm has reported Avarn to the police for fraud.
