Four drones have been shot down by Israel's air defense, announces Israel's military.
The drones are said to have come from the east, which according to Israeli media likely means they were launched from Iraq. Two of them are said to have been shot down before they entered Israeli airspace, writes the newspaper Haaretz.
According to the news agency AFP, pro-Iranian groups in Iraq have taken responsibility for the drone attacks. The Islamic Resistance in Iraq, a coalition consisting of Iran-backed militia groups, writes on Telegram that they carried out attacks on northern and southern Israel.
Israel's military also reports that some kind of projectile was launched against the country from Yemen. However, it did not reach Israel, writes The Times of Israel.
