Traffic has been stopped on both road and rail.
"It is a military vehicle stuck in the railway viaduct with a minor diesel leak from the tank. We are currently working to remove this truck from the railway viaduct," says Peter Karlborg, duty officer of the rescue service, to Hallandsposten.
The accident occurred at 2 p.m. on Sunday.
Pictures from the scene show a military truck wedged under the viaduct, where signs warn of limited vehicle height.
The Swedish Transport Administration says on its website that the work is expected to last until the 16th.
