Miley Cyrus writes in the post that the feeling of losing Dolly Parton "goes beyond what feels right to share. Our most sacred moments were private and they will stay there behind the scenes, under the glamour and between our hearts."
She continues:
"I will always love her and want to make her proud. My heart breaks for the world, her family and friends who will miss her deeply. We stand together in this loss and we will see her in all the most beautiful things."
Country star Dolly Parton has died after a short battle with cancer. She was 80 years old.
