"I don't regret entering the ring one last time", writes Mike Tyson on X, and states that he feels like a winner despite the loss.

Tyson, 58, and Jake Paul, 27, met in an enormously hyped match during the night to Saturday, Swedish time. After eight two-minute rounds, the judges awarded the victory to Paul – who dominated and managed to land more than four times as many hits on his opponent, 78 to 18.

Originally, the match was supposed to take place last summer, but it was postponed due to Tyson's acute health problems.

"I almost died in June. I lost half of my blood and lost eleven kilos in the hospital, and had to fight to get healthy", writes Tyson on X.

The match was held at the AT&T Stadium, which normally hosts the NFL team Dallas Cowboys, and was broadcast live on Netflix.

"That my children got to see me stand face to face and complete eight rounds against a talented boxer who is half my age in a packed Dallas Cowboys arena is an experience that no man has the right to ask for. Thanks", concludes Tyson's post.
