The 26-year-old won in his comeback – in an ITF tournament in Esch, Luxembourg – against Estonian Markus Molder with 6–3, 6–1.
It's only a few days since the ban was lifted.
After the tournament in Luxembourg, the audience in Stockholm may get the chance to see Ymer. He has been selected for the Swedish Davis Cup team that will face Australia at the Royal Tennis Hall on January 31-February 1.
Ymer was at best 50th in the world rankings.
