Mikael Rickfors denies Grymlings are breaking up: ‘We have no plans to stop’

On Friday, Grymling’s PR company announced in a press release that the band had “reached the end of the road” and would play its “very last” gig in Visby in April next year. However, the band’s frontman, Mikael Rickfors, has now denied that the group is breaking up.

A big misunderstanding, he tells Expressen, and continues:

We have no plans to stop. We are still collecting material and writing for the rest of our lives, and then we will probably go into the studio in the fall. The idea was that this would be the last gig on a tour.

Westin Promotion, which sent out the press release with the headline "Grymlings plays its last concert", also clarifies to the newspaper that the band is playing its last gig on the tour, but that this does not mean the band is going to break up.
