14 dead have been found in the Aegean Sea off the Turkish resort, reports the provincial government in Muğla.
Two people were rescued. One of them is said to have stated that a total of 18 migrants were on board the boat when it began to take in water and then sank. What happened to the remaining two is unclear.
The accident occurred shortly after the boat had departed from Turkey, writes the Turkish news agency Anatolia.
