The pole was discovered missing on the evening of Midsummer Eve, but after the Nättraby local community reported the theft to police, it was found at 11 a.m. on Saturday at Nättraby Church.

This year's Midsummer celebration in Nättraby attracted over 2,000 visitors.

The association's chair, Ingegerd Holm, tells P4 Blekinge that they do not know who or what is behind the theft. She also states that someone demanded a reward, which was not paid because the association found the pole itself.
