The warning of a high risk of high pollen levels applies in Götaland, Svealand and in the southern and central coastal areas of Norrland, according to the Nordic National Museum's website Pollen Report .
There is an increased risk in northern Norrland and in parts of the coastal areas of central Norrland, as well as large parts of Värmland, Dalarna and inland Norrland.
The risk is especially high during inclement weather.
In the rest of Sweden the risk of high levels is lower, but it increases in areas next to tall grass.
Midsummer weekend is the time when the peak season for grass pollen begins in southern Sweden. Many tall meadow grasses bloom abundantly in these parts, according to the site.
