The first film, “Michael,” follows the life of the late world star from the beginning of his career in the Jackson 5 until the “Bad” tour in the 1980s.
The film lacked allegations of sexual abuse against underage boys, something that is present in the sequel, says Jaafar Jackson in an interview with GQ .
The film will provide insight from Michael's point of view, because up until now the allegations have always been someone else's story. That's a problem we've had in the family, that Michael's voice hasn't been heard. It's always someone else's stories – with an ulterior motive.
The sequel to "Michael" is still in the script stage.
