The jury also highlights how Lodalen's writing, at a time when threats and hatred against the LGBTQI movement are increasing, calls for a fight against injustice and prejudice.
"No justification could have been more beautiful," says Mian Lodalen in a press release.
Mian Lodalen's novel "Lisa and Lilly - a true love story" is now being made into a film with a planned premiere in autumn 2027.
She will receive the ABF scholarship at the Gothenburg Book Fair on Saturday.
