In May, British artist MIA was forced to leave Kid Cudi's tour after making political remarks about "illegal" immigrants on stage. Last week, MIA also sued her fellow artist for breach of contract.
In an interview conducted before the lawsuit was filed, MIA said that Cudi never spoke to her about her firing. Instead, she heard the news from her son, who saw it in the media.
My son called me from school and said 'Well, I guess you're coming home,' says MIA.
