Malmö FF were just seconds away from being eliminated from the Champions League qualifiers.
But in the sixth minute of added time in the second half, Nils Zätterström made it 3-3 against the Greek league champions Paok, and the match went to extra time.
And Malmö's momentum didn't stop there. Nine minutes into extra time, team captain Anders Christiansen scored 4-3 against a tired Paok who were out of match form, after a fine solo run and assist from young Zätterström.
This is definitely the sickest match I've experienced. The atmosphere, their crazy fans, and how the match picture turned out, says Zätterström after the match to Sydsvenskan.
Malmö also started the scoring in the match when Sebastian Nanasi headed in 1-0 in the tenth minute. The 22-year-old also scored MFF's 2-2 equalizer after Paok turned the match around in the first half.
At halftime, the score was 3-2 to the home team, which held out until the absolute final seconds.
Next, MFF will face Czech Sparta Prag in the Champions League playoff.
