At least two people have been killed and seven others injured in an explosion at a police station in the state of Michoacán, Mexico.
The incident occurred on Saturday and the people killed were reportedly police officers. Several civilians were also injured.
Mexico's federal government has recently sent around 2,000 soldiers to the state, partly as a result of the murder of a mayor who took a stand against drug cartels in the region.
