The Christian band is accusing Netflix of trademark infringement, both over the film, whose original title is "K-pop: Demon Hunters", and the film's soundtrack, writes The Wrap.
The band was originally called Demon Hunter, but says it was forced to give up control of its commercial identity because Netflix has greater resources.
"Netflix, Netflix Studios and AEG have created a significant likelihood of confusion (and confusion has already arisen), causing consumers to believe that the parties' goods or services are affiliated with, sponsored by or otherwise associated with each other," the lawsuit states, among other things, and the band is demanding damages.
Netflix and AEG have not yet commented.
