Arch Enemy's Canadian singer Alissa White-Gluz is leaving the band after twelve years, both parties announced on Instagram.

"After twelve years in Arch Enemy, we have gone our separate ways. I am grateful to all the thousands of wonderful fans I have met along the way. I look forward to sharing what I have been working on," writes White-Gluz.

Arch Enemy writes that they wish her all the best and greet their fans that they expect to "see you in 2026".

Arch Enemy was formed in 1995 in Halmstad by Michael Amott and initially had a male vocalist, Johan Liiva. From 2000 to 2014, German Angela Glossow was the frontman, and then White-Gluz took over the role.
