The trial concerned allegations that Meta, which owns Facebook and Instagram, among other things, misled users in connection with the Cambridge Analytica scandal in 2016.
Cambridge Analytica had obtained personal data from 87 million Facebook users by paying a company that developed apps for the platform.
A judge will now decide how much Meta should pay in fines.
Earlier this year, Meta was ordered in New Mexico to pay the equivalent of just over SEK 9.3 billion in damages in a case involving the company's security protections for minors.
