Facebook owner Meta is discussing, according to information to Bloomberg, an investment of several billion dollars in the AI company Scale AI.
According to information to the news agency, the investment could amount to over 10 billion dollars, equivalent to over 96 billion kronor.
Scale AI, with companies like Microsoft and Open AI on the customer list, has a service that helps companies train different AI models.
If the deal goes through, it will be Meta's largest external investment in AI so far. It would also be the largest investment in a non-listed company ever.
Both Meta and Microsoft have previously invested in the company.
