Prosecutors from 29 US states are pursuing the case against the tech giant, which is accused of violating consumer protection and privacy laws.
Meta has estimated the fine at $1.4 trillion (approximately SEK 13.3 trillion) if it were to lose the lawsuit. If it reaches a settlement, the compensation claim would likely be significantly lower.
