Revenue came in at $64.6 billion, compared with the expected $63.37 billion, CNBC reports.
This means turnover increased by 26 percent compared with the same period last year.
For the fourth quarter, the company expects revenue of between $73 billion and $76 billion, compared with analysts' average estimate of $73.7 billion.
Meta is also raising the lower end of its 2026 data center capital expenditure range to $135 billion, from $130 billion. The upper end remains $145 billion.
The quarterly report also shows that the company plans to create a new class of shares by effectively carrying out a stock split, with existing owners receiving one share of the new class for each existing share, Bloomberg reports in an article.
The stock rose in after-hours trading, gaining just over 5 percent less than an hour after the report was released.
