The award for Storyteller of the Year could go to journalist and author Liza Alexandrova-Zorina for her acclaimed book "The Land of the Serfs", about undocumented people who renovate Swedish luxury villas but live in misery. The SVT documentary about the Catrine da Costa case, "The Swedish Massacre" by Dan Josefsson and Johannes Hallbom, is also nominated.
The jury also highlights Magnus Wennman's and Alexander Bönke's report "Annika wanted to die" in Aftonbladet.
Nominees for the award for journalistic disclosure of the year are Göteborgs-Posten's Michael Verdicchio and Anna Ekström for "Maktens chattar" (Power's chats) about the corruption scandal in Alingsås, Dagens Nyheter's Kristoffer Örstadius and Hugo Lindkvist for "Landerholmaffären" (Landerholm Affair), and P4 Jönköping's Petra Levinson and Markus Engberg for "Värv lätade inte polisen efter Mohamed".
In the Voice of the Year category, comedian Messiah Hallberg competes against religious scholar Joel Halldorf and Anders Holmberg, host of SVT's "30 Minuten".
In the category of Innovator of the Year, SVT's smuggled cameras in Gaza are pitted against Aftonbladet's AI chat.
