Messi scored two goals and assisted on two more as Inter Miami CF came from behind to defeat FC Cincinnati 5-3 on the road in MLS on Wednesday.
In total this season, Messi has scored 11 goals in 12 MLS matches.
The World Cup begins on June 11 and will be played in the United States, Canada and Mexico.
