Lionel Messi scored his 15th goal in 16 matches when his Inter Miami played 1–1 against Charlotte FC on Sunday night, Swedish time.
Messi's goal was of a kind typical for the Argentine. After receiving the ball a bit outside the penalty area in the 67th minute, he made a quick dribble before firing a left cannon that found its way into the left corner.
Miami has already qualified for the playoffs in the American football league MLS and is now fighting to become top-seeded when the playoffs begin in October.
