Argentina national team coach Lionel Scaloni also urges fans to "enjoy" Messi, who is now playing in another World Cup final, this time at the age of 39.
"That's why I say we should enjoy having him, because look what happened with Diego (Maradona) and how we ended up missing him," Scaloni said.
We still have Leo and we should appreciate that. He is a historical figure and a legend, just like all these players who have given us these wonderful years.
Spain captain Rodri also expressed his admiration for Messi.
Words cannot describe what Messi means as a player and what he means to Argentina. For me, he is obviously the greatest of all time.
