Messi is said to have hit his opponent Quinn Sullivan with his hand during an altercation between the two at the end of the match between Inter Miami and Philadelphia. Sullivan was also involved in the incident with Ian Fray.
However, the American soccer league MLS has not revealed how large the fine is.
