Andersson, 33, announced this together with the national team on social media.
"Congratulations on a great national team career, thank you for everything!" the national team wrote in the post.
With Blågult, she won two World Cup bronze medals, in 2019 and 2023, and two Olympic silver medals in 2016 and 2021. Andersson also participated in three European Championships.
On a daily basis, Andersson plays for Linköping, where new challenges await.
"She will now begin higher coaching education in parallel with the season in Linköping," the national team added.
Next season, Linköping will play in the elite league after the team was relegated from the Swedish women's league last season.
In total, Andersson scored three goals in 112 matches for the senior national team.
