The five men who were arrested and detained following the fatal shooting of the Koran burner Salwan Momika but were later released are still suspects, says the prosecutor to DN.

They are still formally suspected, says prosecutor Rasmus Öman, who leads the preliminary investigation, to the newspaper.

He considers it unlikely that any of them will be requested to be detained and is otherwise tight-lipped about the investigation.

I cannot go into details, but we are taking investigative measures and trying to move forward.

No other persons have been arrested or suspected of the crime.

The 38-year-old Momika, who became internationally known and subsequently received a very large threat against him after several noted Quran burnings in Sweden, was shot to death in his home in Södertälje at 23 o'clock on Wednesday last week.

Five people were arrested and detained after the murder, but were later released on bail since the suspicions had weakened.
