229 names and phone numbers on a Swish list have been exposed in the preliminary investigation of a pimping ring in Gothenburg.
The payments, totaling over half a million kronor, have gone to a man in his 60s.
Despite the police having access to the names on the list, the men will not be investigated for buying sex, reports P4 Gothenburg.
The focus has been on the serious crimes and the suspects, says Peter Ljungdahl, at the section for international serious organized crime in Region West to P4 Gothenburg.
I cannot see that we will continue the investigation after the verdict, he says.
The man in his 60s is being prosecuted for aggravated pimping and doping, but not for buying sex despite evidence in the investigation.
