In November, the legendary Volvo CEO Pehr G Gyllenhammar passed away in Canada.
On Friday, parts of his family and friends gathered for a memorial service at Oscarskyrkan in Stockholm to bid him farewell.
Among others, Cristina Stenbeck, a strong woman from the Stenberg family, Volvo's CEO Martin Lundstedt, and artist Marie-Louise Ekman participated in the memorial ceremony.
However, PG Gyllenhammar's widow and his minor daughter did not attend the memorial ceremony, writes Dagens Nyheter. They are still in Canada, where PG Gyllenhammar's remains are also located.
The plan is to bury him later in Gothenburg.
PG Gyllenhammar passed away on November 21 last year. He was 89 years old.
