On March 14, Magnus Bäcklund was scheduled to perform at the Kremlin Palace concert hall, according to the booking page for the concert, reports Aftonbladet.
In a text message conversation with TT, Magnus Bäcklund now writes, among other things, that he has previously been to Moscow several times and has performed there.
"But going there to have a concert now, under the current circumstances, of course doesn't feel right."
Does that mean you won't have a concert in Moscow now?
"Yes, that's exactly what it means."
Magnus Bäcklund won Melodifestivalen in 2003 as one half of Fame.
It was recently reported that Yngwie Malmsteen would be performing in Moscow. He later denied the reports.
