She took World Championship gold on 1,000 meters a couple of weeks ago. In the canoe marathon World Championship in Györ in Hungary, Melina Andersson struck with a silver in shorttrack – despite having problems with the first lift.
Andersson was ahead of the competitors at the first lift, but had problems when she was about to leave and ended up a bit behind, writes the Swedish Canoe Federation in a press release.
