The former First Lady has kept a low profile throughout most of the campaign. She was not seen at the campaign rally when Trump was shot or at the hospital afterwards.
But on the last day of the convention, she came in smiling and waving to the audience's cheers and sat down beside Trump's vice presidential candidate J D Vance.
Melania Trump's presence is considered to help the Republican Party show unity, which was also the message that Trump emphasized in his speech at the convention.
