In the parliamentary elections, Meit Fohlin (S) received 954 personal votes, more than her party colleague Filip Reinhag's 729.
On Friday, Fohlin announced that despite the strong support, she is choosing to remain a politician on the Gotland Regional Council.
I believe that as a freer actor I will be able to do more good, and I hope that everyone will see that and understand it during the mandate period, Fohlin tells P4 Gotland.
