Just like last year, Meira Omar makes it to the final via the qualifiers - this time with "Dooset Daram"; she competed with "Hush Hush" in Malmö.

"I am so, so happy - I don't take any of this for granted," says a joy-stricken Meira Omar to SVT.

Meira Omar became known to Swedish viewers when she found love on Netflix's "Love Is Blind" in 2024.

The second place in the final was taken by Robin Bengtsson with "Honey Honey", who competed in Gothenburg, and who is thus in the final for the fifth time. Robin Bengtsson won the competition in 2017 with "I Can't Go On" and then finished fifth in the Eurovision Song Contest.

Andra chansen, Melodifestivalen's poor relation, has been a path to the final for a couple of years now and is now part of the final round. There, the five entries that came third in each round competed for the last two places in the final.

After the first finalist was announced, voting was reopened and viewers were able to vote for the four remaining acts. The finalists were then announced.

The voting process in the final qualifiers has been criticized. Two years ago, the two artists who performed in the semi-finals on the same night went straight to the final, and many felt they had an advantage from having been seen earlier that night.

To the finals:

Meira Omar - "Dooset Daram"

Robin Bengtsson - "Honey Honey"

Eliminated:

Eva Jumatate - "Selfish"

Jacqueline - "Woman"

Alexa - "Tongue Tied"
