It was during a performance of the musical "Moulin Rouge" that Megan Thee Stallion had to interrupt and leave the stage.
The 31-year-old star was released from the hospital on Wednesday, but her spokesperson said doctors diagnosed her with extreme fatigue, dehydration, vasoconstriction and low metabolism.
The rapper herself called the event an "awakening."
"I've been pushing myself past my limits lately and my body finally gave up. I thought I was going to faint on stage, it honestly scared me," Megan Thee Stallion wrote in a post on Instagram.
She intends to return to work and to the role of Zidler for Thursday's performance.
