Mohammed Saleh al-Bardawil, who worked for the Hamas-driven radio channel al-Aqsa's voice, was killed according to reports in the Israeli air raid before dawn on Tuesday, along with his wife and three children.

According to the authorities in Hamas-controlled Gaza, over 200 journalists and media workers have been killed since the outbreak of war in October 2023.

On Tuesday morning, the Israeli military urged residents in large parts of northern Gaza Strip to immediately leave their homes, reports Haaretz.

The warning includes, among other things, Beit Hanun and Beit Lahia.

"This is a final warning before the raid", wrote the Israeli army's spokesperson Avichay Andraee on X.

Hours earlier, Israel reported that a rocket had been fired towards Israel from northern Gaza. The terrorist-designated Islamic Jihad has taken responsibility for the attack.

On Monday, Israel ordered evacuations also in southern Gaza, affecting almost the entire city of Rafah. The evacuations are the largest since Israel broke the ceasefire with Hamas on March 18.
