According to the information, the air defense is said to have shot down over 30 drones flying towards Moscow. Two airports are reported to have been closed temporarily as a result.
In total, nearly 200 drones were shot down in various parts of Russia during the night, the country's defense department reports. In Bryansk near Ukraine, at least one person is said to have been killed when a minibus was hit, writes AFP.
Ukraine has not commented on the information.
